Flat Teddy (UK ) has just been greatly excited by the discovery that he has an American namesake. He is not as well travelled but has visited a few countries in or near Europe and would be happy to share his experiences.

Judy, This site is fabulous; you've so much information here and it's so easy to access. My goodness girl, you did put some miles on...this is very impressive and inspirational. I clipped the Coloradoan notice about your slide presentation at Bennett School (in Nov.). But it got stuck in a pile of things to do and I have just now looked at your web site. How about a slide presentation for the book club sometime...if it's not too much work for you; perhaps you'd better tell us what all is involved before you say yes.... See you at book club. Well done!!!!! Love, Penny

I read your descriptive and informative articles in the Wray Gazette as you traveled around the United States. Many children are blessed having you for their teacher. I appreciate the hard work you do writing and teaching as my mother (Carol Sample) was a first and second grade teacher in both Laird and Wray. This website with it's links added more history and visual images to your journal. Good luck with your book. I enjoyed reading the comments from Peggy, Donna, and Betty.

Hi my cousin, I'm so very proud of you. I have been traveling along weekly with your letters on e-mail and your inter-net. I will be welcoming you home soon, either in Ft. Collins or Wray. What a dream come true for you, you were always one of those Finn cousins with adventure, brains and not afraid of adventure. God Bless you!

Right on Judy. As a retired teacher I think what you're doing is great. Many creative people come from our little town in eastern Colo. One set of grandparents homesteaded in SW Nebr. so we have several interesting stories from the 1890+ era.

As you contemplate words to bind the centuries together for classroom children, I just wanted to let you know how much I too am enjoying the links provided. My two favorites have been the Frank Lloyd Wright and Vanderbilt sections. You are creating an opportunity for many to see grand mansions filled with antiques and surrounded by beautiful landscaping. Thank you and don’t forget my earlier suggestion to treat yourself to a nice bed and breakfast with Victorian lace and doilies, feather-downed comforters and window seats to sit upon. Take care.

I'm only sorry that I didn't know how to access when Judy first started her journey, I would have been following her all across the country. What a wonderful thing she's doing. Last year I was able to follow another friend as she journeyed across the world. It's a chance for everyone to sit in there chairs at home and see the world. Thank you Judy and I'll see you soon. Great trip you are having! It was wonderful to see you last Sunday, October 29th! It was fun to see you on T.V. on Wednesday night also! The choir did cheer as though you had placed something very valuable in the basket! Peace for the Journey!
